Hitchhiker A Mystery Game has one of the best casts in a game of late. Vern is just one of the drivers you ride with over this five-chapter story, and it’s fair to say that there’s not a single weak link in the voice talent. Listening to Vern yack away about raisins doesn’t put you to sleep as could be expected instead, you almost hang on to every word that he says.
It takes a few minutes of jumping through hoops, and it’s apparent that this is going to be a NeoCab experience, but without the drama. There’s nothing wrong with being a spectactor if the content is good – think Before Your Eyes, and it’s simply a case of making yourself comfortable and assimilating everything thrown at you.
